Frikkie van Zyl, James Seymour and two potential members, Guy Widdecombe and Paula, from the Amajuba section of the MCSA, took on Keartlands Pass, Blind Man’s Corner, and Sphinx Loop as an excellent opportunity to kick off what should be a wonderful new year for hiking on Saturday, 3rd January.

The start was a bit wet and misty, but there were stunning waterfall spectacles virtually in every small valley along the route. Guy enhanced this enjoyable experience by introducing us to an ancient San arrowhead sharpening stone near one of these waterfalls.
